Mallee Border Health Centre is a privately billing practice.
Fees are payable on the day of your appointment. Charges vary depending on the length of time you spend with the doctor and the complexity of your medical condition. We cannot always predict how much time your consultation will take.
If you are eligible for a Medicare rebate, you can claim back some of the cost of your consultation and we can process this instantly for you at the reception counter.
Out of Hours
If one of our practitioners is contacted out of hours this will incur and Out of Hours Fee.

A note on billing
At Mallee Border Health Centre, we are a mixed billing practice, offering both private billing and bulk billing for eligible Nurse Practitioner and General Practice services. Medicare funding arrangements for Nurse Practitioners differ from those for General Practitioners. This is because Medicare rebates, incentive payments and funding programs available to General Practitioners are not always available to Nurse Practitioners. As a result, our billing structure for Nurse Practitioner appointments may differ from that of General Practitioner services. We are committed to providing transparent information about our fees, and our team will be happy to discuss any costs with you before your appointment.
